The Damali vineyard was originally planted in 2006 with castel grapes, a North American French hybrid suited to our coastal climate and terrain.  We have since added other varietals for blending our estate grown ‘Maillette’ red wine.  After converting the original barn into a winery, our first wines were released in the Spring of 2011.

All Damali wines are made with fruit grown within the Cowichan region and our signature wines are fruit and lavender blends.  They are truly delicious and have proved to be very popular. So now we are also growing  blackberries, raspberries, rhubarb and black currants for the purpose of wine making.

A half hour Guided Farm Tour & Wine Tasting for groups of 12 or more is available at a cost of $8 per person by prearrangement.

Picnics – You are encouraged to bring your own picnic which you can enjoy in our licensed picnic area.
