Vineyard - Winery

In 2009/2010 the original big barn on the property was converted into a winery and in February 2010 the Damali partners applied for a license to become a full fledged winery.  In October 2010 the license was approved so Damali is now a fully licenced vineyard and winery.  First Damali wines were introduced in May 2011. Sample our first vintage in the new winery or enjoy a glass on our licensed picnic area overlooking the farm.

Damali grows primarily Castell grapes, a North American varietal that produces a full bodied red wine.  Other varieties of grapes and fruits are being tested for suitability to the climate and terrain and Damali also harvests Pinot Gris grapes in Glenora.  The wines produced include some unique blends that incorporate lavender.
