| Happy New Year Everyone; We hope you enjoyed the festive season with family and friends or perhaps even somewhere warm and sunny! Sun is something we’ve been a little short of lately so indoor jobs are the order of the day here at Damali Lavender Farm. The winery is nearly finished as well as the vinegary and we have our first batch of artisan wine vinegar ready to bottle and we think it’s pretty good! We also have blackberry wine vinegar nearly ready, so come spring we will have some new products on the shelves. We are also going ahead with pursuing our winery license so look forward to some wine tasting within the next year. We have 3 weddings booked for this summer and look forward to this new venture as the property lends itself so beautifully to this purpose. They can find out more at www.damali.ca/pages/vineyard Our Lavenderfest will be on July 31st this year on the Saturday of the BC Day long weekend and promises to be even bigger and better so mark your new calendars! We have over 1000 lavender starts in the green house and will start some more in March so we will be ready for a proper plant sale in the Spring with numerous varieties and sizes of lavender plants. We get many, many request for plants throughout the year but April & May is really the only time we can have plants available so I will keep you posted on the date of our plant sale. Through the early spring we are doing a Series of ‘Human Energy Field’ Workshops and a Retreat which promise to be very enlightening and we plan to do more of these types of events in the future.
